Silesse Single Cultivar Traditional Kava

Sale price$45.00 USD

Malekula's Contemplative Cultivar: Slow-Building, Deeply Introspective

A rare cultivar from the rugged bushlands of Malekula, Silesse is particularly well suited for solo contemplation and quiet reflection. This slow-building "creeper" kava moves steadily through mind and body, deepening over time into a state of immersive inner tranquility. Venerated by Malekula's indigenous communities for generations but rarely available outside Vanuatu in pure form.

Character: Deeply introspective—particularly valued for personal reflection, meditation, and quiet contemplation. A slow-building "creeper" that begins fairly quickly but continues building stronger throughout the session. Well-balanced with cerebral and body relaxation working together for deep, full-body calm. Effects deepen and sustain over time. Perfect for quiet evenings before settling in for the night.

Taste & Aroma: Light and buttery texture. Creamy with mild bitterness, notes of breadfruit, malty cashewy aroma, and subtle fruity tones.

Traditional Grind Format: Peeled kava root ground into a medium-grind powder. Contains the root's indigestible fibres, so it needs to be kneaded and strained before drinking using a strainer bag.
